Raymond Martin Schrass (1927 - 2018)
Wilmington,
DE - Raymond Martin Schrass was born February 2, 1927, and died June 19,
2018. He is
survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rose Dayton Schrass; sister Marie
Hassler; two children, Elizabeth Burke (husband John) and Carl Schrass (wife
Debbie); step-daughters, Doris Banta, Donna Shaffer (husband Rick) and Dyan
Banta; six grandsons, one great-granddaughter, five step-grandchildren, and
four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry
and Ethel Schrass and four brothers. Ray
graduated from Eddystone High School in 1945 and served in the Army
and was honorably discharged in 1947. Ray belonged to Veterans of Foreign
War, American Legion and Delaware Veterans Club. A visitation will be held on
Saturday June 23 from 10-11am followed by a service at 11am at the McCrery
and Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike Wilmington 19803. Burial will be
