THOMAS G. PISER
Tom
worked in the construction field as a union carpenter on the Sears Tower in
Chicago, was self employed as a general contractor and then worked for
Holcomb Kitchens and Remodeling in Wilmington for several years. He was proud
to be an associate member of the Del Vets Club in North Wilmington. Tom is
survived by his son, T.R. Piser of Wilmington; wife, Charlene Piser; mother,
Ruth M. Piser of North Pole, Alaska; 2 brothers, Robert "Bob" Piser
and his wife Carol and their 3 children of North Pole, Alaska and William
"Bill" L. Piser and his wife Cindy of Chicago, Illinois; and
longtime friends, Frank and Lori Smith of Smyrna . The
family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland Hospice for their
care during this difficult time. A
memorial service will be held at 5 pm, on Friday, September 18, at St. Paul's
United Methodist Church, 1314 Foulk Rd. Please join the family for a
Celebration of Life at the Delaware Veterans Club, 2535 Veterans Drive,
Wilmington DE 19810 from 1-3 pm, Saturday, September 19, 2009. Burial will be
private. In lieu
of flowers, the family suggests donations to Heartland Hospice House, 5661
Ochletree Lane, Wilmington, DE 19808. Arrangements
