Albert H. Montello(1929 - 2015)

Montello, 86, of Boothwyn, passed away on Saturday, September 12th at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Albert was born to the late Aniello and Catherine Montella. He was raised in the Chichester area. He was an operating engineer for the local 542 where he worked for both the Worthy Brothers and Henkel & McCoy construction companies until his retirement. He also was the owner of the Nite Cap Lounge. Albert was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an honorary member of Boothwyn and Reliance Fire Companies, as well as a member of the West End Boat Club. Albert enjoyed boating, restoring cars and traveling. He enjoyed living life to the fullest. His beautiful smile will be missed by all. He is predeceased by his Sisters, Phyllis Canty, Florence Ogden, Doris Sgro; Brothers, Joseph, Carmen, Carl and Sandino Montello. He is survived by his Wife of 65 years, Jean Montello; Children, Albert A. Montello(Rosemary), Phyllis Rochelle, Lisa Chlebek(Bill) and Angel Montello; Sister, Madeline Ringheiser; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 18th at 11am at St. John Fisher Church. Friends and family are invited to call from 8:30am-11am in the church. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
