Richard Francis Micolucci Sr.

Richard Francis Micolucci, Sr., age 75, of Aston, PA, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at home.  Rick was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, Class of 1961.  He was employed with Bell Telephone, AT& T and retired from Lucent Technologies in 2000.  Rick also enjoyed working recently at Linvilla Orchards.  Mr. Micolucci was a devoted U.S. Marine Veteran, who served during the Vietnam era. He was the commandant for the Delaware Veterans Marine Corp League and a member of the honor guard.  Rick was the Sergeant of Arms and former commandant for the Marine Corp League in Upland, PA. Rick was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal for his time served as a sharpshooter.

Rick and Flossie loved to go line dancing together.  They enjoyed dancing at Redwood, Uncle Bob’s in Maryland and Olivet Presbyterian Church in Prospect Park, PA.  Rick also loved camping with his RV.  He was an enthusiastic Flyers and Eagles fan. Most of all, he loved his family and cherished spending time together.

Brother of the late Daniel Micolucci and grandfather of the late Dakota Price.

Children: Diane Micolucci, Richard F. (Cathy) Micolucci, Jr. and Jo Ann (David) Wright

Grandchildren: Richard, Jessica and Richard III

Great-Grandchildren: Cesar, Nathaniel and Aoi

Brother: George Micolucci

Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, October 2^nd at 6:00PM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 2^nd from  3:30-6:00PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
