Adrian H. Mery III “Bud”

Adrian H. Mery, III (Bud) 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 26, 2021. He was welcomed by his late father Edward Mery, mother Elizabeth Lemmey and also by his sister Joanne M. Instone.

Bud proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He drove cross country and was a Teamster. Bud served as an officer for the Wilmington Police department, was a member of the Masons and a proud member of the Del Vets Post #1 for 52 years.

Bud was always good for a bad dad joke or two and would laugh, even if you didn’t. He also had an unfortunate love for the Dallas Cowboys.

Bud is survived by his loving wife Joyce Mery of Wilmington, DE; his daughters, Kimberly Mery of Georgetown, DE, Deborah Mery Boyer and husband Russel Boyer of Central City, PA and Niome Mery Collins and husband Richard Collins, of Central City, PA; his stepson Kevin Borecki of Suffolk, VA., 10 grandchidren and 11 great grandchildren.
