 Ralph H. Lipford, Sr. 84 of Wilmington
died suddenly at home on Saturday May 3, 2014.
Ralph was a designer/installer in the carpet industry. He enjoyed fishing,
gardening and spending time at Del Vets. A Navy veteran of four years, he was
a member of the Delaware Veterans Post #1 for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Virginia Lipford;
daughters Sheila Wurst (Steve), Patricia Plummer
(Mark), son Ralph Lipford, Jr.; grandchildren Dr.
Melissa Brown, Sgt. Jason Plummer and Faith Lipford
and great granddaughters Kira and Breanna Brown.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday May 9, 2014 at CHANDLER
FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington where friends may call
from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Newark
Union Cemetery,
Wilmington.
