GEORGE W. LEWIS

Loving husband, father, friend and patriot passed away on the 8th day of November 2002.

George was a devout Christian for 73 years and an attendant of St. Luke and the Epiphany in Philadelphia, PA and St. Mary's Anglican Church in Wilmington, DE.

An alumnus of Princeton University and Harvard Business School, George served proudly as a lieutenant in the artillery during the Korean War. Upon returning from overseas, George began a professional career with the Ford Motor Company and moved on to Rolls Royce, where he devoted over 20 years of his life, rising to the position of president of Rolls Royce America.

George was above all devoted to Christ, family and friends at St. Luke and the Epiphany in Philadelphia.

George was a proud member of Delaware Veterans Post #1, Wilmington, DE.

His wife, Elizabeth Lewis; son, George B. Lewis; daughter, Martha Storey; stepdaughter, Natalie Knitowski; and stepsons, Robert and Thomas Nowaczyk will miss him dearly.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 12 at 2 pm at St. Luke and the Epiphany in Philadelphia, PA.
