Michael P. Flocco Jr.

Passed away peacefully at Cadia Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, June 12, 2016.

Born in Philadelphia, Michael was the son of the late Marie (Molinari) and Michael P. Flocco, Sr. He was a sheet metal mechanic and a member of Local #19. After his son Matthew's tragic death on September 11, 2001 in Washington D.C., he steered his efforts to the rebuilding of the Pentagon.

Michael will be dearly missed by his wife of 38 years, Sheila (May) Flocco; his sisters, Michele Aiello and her husband, Frank, Marie Houston and Connie Flanagan and her husband, Michael; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 20th at 11 AM at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, where friends are invited to visitation after 10 AM. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society , 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
