Gregory C. Comisiak
Gregory
C. Comisiak, age 72 of Kennett Square, PA passed away peacefully on May 26th,
2020 at Chester County Hospital. He was born and raised in Chester, PA to his
parents, Stanley Chomisiak and Helen Lenard Comisiak. Greg has resided in
Kennett Square for 7 years, previously residing in Dexter, Michigan and
Morgantown, PA. He graduated Chester High School, Class of 1967 and went on
to join the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. After serving in
the Army, he was employed by Westinghouse for 17 years. Greg decided to
achieve and gain his electrical degree and soon after became the Maintenance
Technician at Reading Hospital where he worked 17 years before retiring. Greg
was devoted to his Catholic faith. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as
fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a passionate baseball fan, and had
great love for the Phillies. Greg never strayed far from his military
background, as he was an active member of the Delaware Veterans Post #1 and
was a lifetime member of the Blinded Veteran Association. He is survived by
his loving wife of 37 years, Kathleen J. Conlin Comisiak, 2 daughters; Megan
(Josh) Bailey and Laura Comisiak, twin brothers; Walter Comisiak and Stanley
Comisiak, 2 nephews; Jonathan Comisiak and Jeffrey Comisiak, and numerous
other nieces, nephews, and extended family. A public Drive-Thru visitation
for Greg will be held on Monday June 1, 2020 10:00-10:45AM at the Pagano
Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. Due to the Covid 19
Pandemic, family, friends, and relatives will be asked to form a Drive-Thru
receiving line from 10:00-10:45AM in the parking lot at the funeral home. A
Private Funeral Service will be LIVESTREAMED for Greg by visiting our website
(www.paganofuneralhome.com) or via Facebook (search Pagano Funeral Home)
which will begin at 11:00AM on Monday. Interment will remain Private.
